JAKARTA – MNC Lido City Special Economic Zone (SEZ), together with MNC Peduli and MNC Tourism, continues to demonstrate its support for economic empowerment initiatives at Islamic boarding schools (pesantren).
The support was delivered through the Mosque and Islamic Boarding School Care Program (Program Peduli Pesantren), with the handover of five goat breeding stock to Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School in Bogor. The assistance was warmly welcomed by the management of the Islamic boarding school.
Chairman of the Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School Foundation, Ustadz Beben Baenuri, said that the goats could be managed and bred to generate long-term benefits.
In addition, the livestock can help support the operational needs of the Islamic boarding school while also serving as a learning medium for students (santri) to gain practical knowledge and experience in animal husbandry.
“On behalf of Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to MNC Peduli, MNC Tourism, and MNC Lido City SEZ for their care and support in providing this assistance to our Islamic boarding school,” said Ustadz Beben on Tuesday (January 20, 2026).
He also expressed his gratitude and appreciation to MNC Peduli, MNC Tourism, and MNC Lido City SEZ for providing the livestock, which he described as a meaningful contribution and a tangible form of support for the activities and economic empowerment of the Islamic boarding school.
“We hope that this assistance provided to Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School will serve as a testament to the care and tangible commitment of MNC Peduli, MNC Tourism, and MNC Lido City SEZ, and that it will bring blessings and lasting benefits in the future,” he said.
He emphasized that the assistance would be managed responsibly and in accordance with the trust placed in the institution, with the aim of supporting the development of education and improving the welfare of the students in the future.
“Going forward, we will use and manage this assistance responsibly and in accordance with the trust entrusted to us, so that it can be further developed for the benefit of the students at Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School,” said Ustadz Beben.
Beyond providing material assistance, the initiative is also expected to serve as a bridge for building sustainable relationships and continued engagement between the corporate sector and religious educational institutions.
“We hope that this initiative will lead to continued collaboration and stronger ties between MNC Peduli, MNC Tourism, MNC Lido City SEZ, and Miftahul Ulum Islamic Boarding School,” he said.
