MNC Lido City SEZ Cleans Mosque in Cigombong, Bogor, Ahead of Ramadan

BOGOR – MNC Lido City Special Economic Zone (SEZ) once again held its Mosque Care Program on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. The initiative follows the successful implementation of a similar program the previous year, carried out in collaboration with MNC Tourism Indonesia and MNC Peduli.
General Manager of Town Management of MNC Lido City SEZ, Syaiful Ardiansyah, said that this time, MNC Lido City SEZ held the Mosque Care Program at Al Azhim Mosque in Cigombong District, Bogor Regency.
He emphasized that the initiative reflects the company’s commitment to supporting the communities surrounding the area.
“We would like to thank the management of Al Azhim Mosque’s DKM. As in previous years, MNC Lido City SEZ has consistently carried out various environmental and community care initiatives, one of which is this Mosque Care Program,” said Syaiful.
As part of the program, the MNC Lido City SEZ team carried out a comprehensive cleaning of the mosque, including the toilets, ablution areas, floors, carpets, and hard-to-reach corners of the mosque.
“The mosque cleaning program is not limited to the interior of the mosque. We also clean the toilets, ablution areas, and the mosque’s surrounding grounds,” he said.
Syaiful explained that the Mosque Care Program is expected to assist mosque management teams that have limited cleaning personnel in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of their worship facilities.
“Our goal is to help create a clean and comfortable place of worship, which will ultimately help create a more conducive environment for the community to worship with greater peace and devotion,” said Syaiful.
The initiative also represents MNC Lido City SEZ’s contribution to the surrounding community in welcoming the holy month of Ramadan, which is traditionally associated with kerja bakti, or communal activities to clean and prepare mosques.
He further emphasized that the Mosque Care Program would become a regular initiative, with a target of cleaning eight mosques before the start of Ramadan. The activities are carried out twice a week by the MNC Lido City SEZ team.
“Last year, we cleaned eight mosques in preparation for the holy month of Ramadan. This year, God willing, we will carry out the same program,” he said.
Syaiful expressed hope that the Mosque Care Program would help support mosque management teams in carrying out these activities in a more organized and effective manner.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chairman of the DKM of Al Azhim Mosque, H. Sukri, welcomed and expressed his appreciation for the Mosque Care Program conducted by MNC Lido City SEZ.
According to him, the program provides significant assistance, particularly in improving the cleanliness of the mosque, which has not yet been optimal due to a shortage of cleaning personnel at Al Azhim Mosque.
“We would like to thank MNC for its concern and support. We have limited personnel here to handle the cleaning. Alhamdulillah, MNC has now stepped in to help and show its care for the mosque,” he said.
“We truly appreciate MNC’s concern, especially since this is the community where MNC operates and has established its presence,” added Sukri.
Through this program, MNC Lido City SEZ, together with MNC Peduli, reaffirms its commitment to making a positive contribution to the surrounding community and strengthening harmonious relations between the company and the local environment.
